Questions, answered

What is deFITnitive?+
It's a competitive fitness game: train in real life, power up your Blob and fight other players. Your actions earn Power (PWR ⚡) to climb the leaderboard and win real-world prizes!
Do I have to pay to play or win prizes?+
No. You can play and compete for free. PRO and rewarded ads are optional; their benefits and limits are shown in the game before you use them. You still need to meet the Official Rules to claim a prize.
Do I have to install anything or sign up to try it?+
There is nothing to install: open deFITnitive in your browser. You can start as a guest, but you need to sign up and verify your email to appear on the official leaderboard and be eligible for prizes.
How do I climb the leaderboard?+
Your position depends on your Power (PWR ⚡). Earn it by training, winning fights, completing missions, taking part in Clan Wars and weekly events. You can also progress through confirmed referrals and Arcade Tickets. Come back every day for new chances to climb!
How do battles work?+
Your Blob faces other players' Blobs in automatic battles. An algorithm decides every move and hit based on your progress, today's training and other factors, making every battle unique and unpredictable! The more you train and improve your Blob, the better your chances of winning and climbing the leaderboard.

Your available battles recharge one at a time every 3 hours.
Are the prizes real?+
Yes, they're real! 🏆 Every month brings new prizes. The Top 10 on the leaderboard usually wins incredible rewards (like GTA VI, trips to the Maldives, €100 and more). And we draw 10 extra prizes among participants who meet the Official Rules.

Prizes are awarded after results and eligibility are verified. See the Official Rules.
How does the Prize Draw work?+
You don't need to make the Top 10 to win! 🎁 In addition to leaderboard prizes, we draw 10 extra prizes among participants who meet the Official Rules each season.

Enter by collecting Draw Tickets 🎟️ through different in-game goals and activities. The more tickets you have, the greater your chances of winning a prize!

Does the camera record or upload my workouts?+
No. Your video is processed on your device to count reps; we do not record it or upload it to our servers. Camera access only starts if you allow it in your browser. Privacy Policy.
Does the camera check my exercise technique?+
No. It estimates reps for gameplay. It is not a medical device and cannot guarantee correct form, so train at your own pace.
Will I lose Power if I stop playing?+
You get one inactive day without losing Power. If you stay away, your PWR then falls daily at the rates shown in the game. Complete a valid mission to stop the decay. Your rank can also change as other players move up.
When does the season end and how do I get a prize?+
Each season lasts one calendar month. At the end, we review the leaderboard and prize draw results, then email potential winners.

You have 15 days to accept your prize after we contact you. We'll contact you to arrange delivery of your prize under the Official Rules.

We're a team of just three people handling everything, so some prizes may take a little longer for logistical reasons.

What if I cannot sign in or work out?+
Tell us what happened at hola@somnigamestudios.com. Include your device and browser so we can help. Never send passwords.
Not getting notifications?+
Turn them on in the app's Settings › Notifications, then check the case that matches your device.

Brave on desktop: open Brave Settings › Privacy and security, turn on "Use Google services for push messaging", then try again.

Android: allow your browser to run in the background in your phone's battery or app settings. Menu names vary by phone maker.

iPhone and iPad: you need iOS 16.4 or later. Add the app to your Home Screen from Safari and open it from that icon before you turn notifications on.
